Folks what's up, Catjia here- finally two albums that are ridiculously good- we're pretty pysched about the promise in compromise esp. "Right As Rain" produced by Jesse Cannon, we have our own version coming out on Vol.3 and one of my personal favorites. For Tokyo Rose its a long time coming for these guys The Promise in Compromise is this is their finest hour yet. TR's the promise in compromise is vibrant, refreshing and while a bit more catchier it holds super weight. I'd love to see these guys get hitched with a huge tour this year, I mean mega huge, like TOC or I don't know maybe hit the road with Saosin or even....haha you'll just have to wait and see.
The Starting Line, for me I go way back with these guys, before there was Punk The Clock there was TSL. One of my all time favorite songs from these guys "Lasting Impression"- I don't ever ever get burnt on the lyrics. These guys have had a pretty interesting trek down music industry lane. Drive-thru-geffen-virgin- this is the album we've been waititng for and I'll tell you why, not since MCR Three Cheers (and ptc vol 1) have I've been addicted to a tracklisting."Direction" is a brilliant example of Howard Benson's skilled menagerie drums, strings and vocals.(More to come soon)
Greetings my friends and welcome to another installment of The RiCCioLi Rundown. Just giving you guys a heads up on what has been going on as of lately. Punk The Clock Vol. 3: Property Of A Gentleman is mixed and finished! OMG we thought this day would never come. I can’t believe how great it sounds from the intro to the outro. You all are in for a huge treat so make sure you pick it up when it hits stores this September.
Lets go over a huge part of the punk rock community; The Vans Warped Tour. We all know of it and I’m sure 85% if you are going this year. Heck I know I will be at the Philly date, NJ, and NY. At this year’s Warped Tour you can catch a lot of Punk The Clock Artists tearing up the stage. Acts such as The Matches, The Almost, My American Heart, New Atlantic, Ellison, Inamere, and Anberlin. You might even see Punk The Clock promotion material at the shows including posters, stickers, and other goodies. If you are going to the Philly show, NJ, or NY make sure to stop by the Inamere merch table and say hi to them and myself. We would love to see some of you guys.
On to other business, The Punk The Clock Street Team. We have began to put one together to promote the upcoming release and possible tours. Two huge upcoming releases are coming out this month by two Punk The Clock Artists. July 31st we will see the relase of The Starting Line’s new album “Direction”, as well as Tokyo Rose’s new album “The Promise In Compromise”. We suggest you go out there and buy them both because we have been hearing some great things about these albums. I will be at the Tokyo Rose show on the 28th in NYC so I will give you all a review.

For our first piece of news, I am honored to present The Matches brand new video for “Salty Eyes” off their 2006 album “Decomposer.” It is literally in my top 5 albums of last year and I personally have been a huge fan of theirs since E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals. Their live shows are amazing and I believe Shawn (lead singer, guitar) is one of the best frontman in the scene these days. Punk the Clock is a compilation of upcoming artist supported by headliners, we are getting ready to release Volume 3 "Property of a Gentleman". Each year the compilation is supported with a tour for volume 3 Punk The Clock will have 3 US tours.(Jack Mannequin West Coast Winter tour and The Audition Spring 2007 tour) Which leaves one more in 2008. The Key here is to support the bands that are featured on the compilation. Each Punk the Clock compilation will benefit a charity Vol 3 benefits Andrew McMahon's "Dear Jack Foundation"
