Somewhere "OVER IT"

Countdown to "Step Out Side Yourself" OVER IT August 29 2006-

Punk The Clock has been a long time supporter of "Over It". These guys have had us rocking for about three years now. If you've been under some sort of punkrock and havent heard them might I suggest www.myspace.com/overit or www.overitonline.com and www.absolutepunk.net you can't miss the Tate's touch. Witness the history about to be made from a band who took the risk then and are sure to take it a step outside themselves in the future- thumbs up
Much success Over It rainbow!

Forever In Fall/Bottom Line/The Summer Obsession

Last night I was fortunate to catch Forever In Fall supporting Bottom Line and The Summer Obsession. FIF stage performance is all out heart and soul- it was obvious from the rif one check 2 that this band is out to break all records, advancing hard core to pay their dues. I definately get the sense that the stage is too small if not confining for lead singer Ola (spell check). Track 1,2,3 caught my attention but something was missing, and then fslammed by the last song in the set-4!-im going to screw this up "how fast can u climb up the mountain" (how about myspace.com/foreverinfall) my point is think The Academy Is-"Checkmarks". FIF have signature, stage presence combined with earnest charisma and can easily command the crowd-and it completely without exception unfolded right in front of me. Thanks Russ-I get them! These guys need to be in the studio dammit straight from this tour---IMPRESSED- where did these guys come from and what pop rock have I been under? 2 years, 1 year full warp, second arena.

Smoke break: chat with Casey, one of my favorites-all time, of Xcess DB ent. to ease my nerves and we start to talk about Punk The Clock v3- I start to fcringe, and the panikrush hits as usual because #1
I'm extremely introverted, and my thoughts just unwind #2 I don't want to talk about production until its finished and then I won't have to talk about it cvause...Its like I'm in the middle of my everything and its so personal I can't speak. And now I know whjy I use to drink to get drunk and not have to talk. I haven't had one drop since may 22.

"Now if we can turn up all the monitors...check 1 Check 2...hey NJ we are Bottom Line" and immediately my eyes are hypnotized by bassist Greg Yock-top 5 bassist no argument. Fbrilliant. Enough.

The Summer Obsession, perhaps it is obvious, and maybe I like cocky. TSO will definately be headlining to the masses soon enough-Geeetttt Seeeetttt Ready
HA-

-i cannot believe I almost missed these groups thank you Ruiss for making this happen!

And purevolume this rocked.

Justin's not DEAD-

VooDoo Blue's Justin in accident

----------------

directly from the guys in VooDoo Blue.

”Justin's not dead

It sounds like a bad dream. Friday night on the way to Dan's house to pack the van and hit the road, Justin was in a pretty bad car accident. Everything is fine, please don't freak out, he was released from shock trauma around 2am that night (it was just a precaution, he only has a concussion, and a bunch of scrapes and bruises). Justin and all of us send our love and apologies to everyone that we are going to miss out on seeing. But we are taking things one day at a time, not wanting to cancel our whole tour we are going to cancel only a few shows as of now. We promise to keep everyone up to date.”

The band is scheduled to tour with Near Miss.  Justin has medical appointments set up for today to determine if there is more damage to his head/brain. He'll want to start playing as soon as possible but right now he can't and there's no way of knowing when he can, we will wait to see what the doctors say. Current tour dates are being canceled a few days ahead of time as the band waits to see when Justin will be ready.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that he is fine and there is no serious damage and the band will be able to continue their tour and visit their fans.  Justin and all of us appreciate all of the support.

Rock Bottom

And now we can add "ACCEPTANCE" to the pit of Rock Bottoms broken dreams, broken hearts, broken promise and just broken down! This personally sucks for PTC founder Catjia. ACCEPTANCE "Permanent" was the first track off of Punk The Clock v1 and the first show I caught at the Continental NYC. Like so many other bands that have been hitting the road in the last 3 years, vivacious stage performance and the fast track to superstardom, Jason we will miss you farvel and thank you for epitomizing the death of your rockstar, I guess nothing is permanent.

(The scene from almost famous flashes in my head) woooooo "your home"

Acceptance has left us with the entire album to download from purevolume free-thank you for the going away present. www.purevolume.com/acceptance

-40 bands 26 that we salute on Punk the Clocks V1 and V2 here have hit ROCK BOTTOM in the last 2 years. Meaning bands members are swinging through the door at warp speed Somehow I have a feeling were not in Kansas anymore.
